The Opportunity
Sage Shift was created to bring the people closest to care into the conversation about the future of senior living. For its inaugural summit in Brooklyn, Sage Health brought together exceptional caregivers from across the country alongside community leaders and senior living partners for two days dedicated to conversation, recognition, and connection. The ambition was to create an experience that celebrated the people doing the work every day while giving them a meaningful voice in shaping what comes next.
Our Solution
Moonage partnered with Sage to bring the first Sage Shift to life, creating an experience that put caregivers at the center of every moment while giving the Sage brand a powerful platform for visibility and expression. From the opening dinner through a full day of programming and the closing celebration, the experience was designed to feel warm, generous, and human—balancing meaningful conversations around caregiving and the future of senior living with moments of connection, hospitality, and celebration, while bringing Sage’s identity, mission, and point of view to life throughout the experience.
Creative Implementation
At The Refinery at Domino, Moonage created an environment that moved fluidly between learning, conversation, and celebration. The main stage became the visual centerpiece of the summit, fully developed around Sage’s brand and the event identity created specifically for Sage Shift, giving the brand a bold and highly visible presence throughout the day. That visual language extended across signage, florals, lighting, and environmental details, creating a cohesive experience across the venue. Surrounding spaces encouraged more informal exchanges and moments of connection, while hospitality and production tied each part of the day together. The result was a first edition that felt distinctly Sage—giving caregivers a platform while establishing a strong and recognizable identity for Sage Shift from the outset.
